My name is Josh Malbone and I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. The following is the story of my journey to owning and operating Palmetto Pressure Washing.

Several years ago, I worked for a pressure washing company part-time to help pay my college tuition. I started my career at Invista in Lugoff, South Carolina, after graduation. This is where I worked as an Industrial Mechanic for more than 12 years. During that time it became my goal to start my own pressure washing business. I began offering pressure washing services on houses and driveways on the side to earn some extra income.

Countless hours of research taught me how to properly “softwash” different surfaces. Softwash is the combination of low pressure and proper chemicals. Armed with this knowledge, it was time to pursue my goal of owning my own business.

Shortly after getting the proper license and insurances needed to make my business legal and legit, I began providing my services to family and friends to help get my business name established. It didn’t take long for the word to spread and the phone to start ringing!

 Finally, after three years of hard work, continued research, and determination, this was no longer a part-time job but a successful company. I left my full-time job to dedicate myself to my own business, and haven’t looked back.
